The iconic high-grade Long Jin green tea from the province of Hangzhou. The traditional technology of hand plucking and production of this tea has remained unchanged for centuries. The top two young leaves are roasted in special pans. For tea leaves to acquire an easily recognizable flat elongated shape resembling pine needles, they are pressed against hot surface of the pan. Tea leaves processed in this manner become tender and feature unique flavour. Long Jin has a rich flavour gradually bringing out sweet nut notes, freshness of meadows and floral aftertaste as you are drinking it. Brew this tea several times to experience the unique taste of each cup.
